Hey!
T'is been a long time since I blogged consecutively for 2 days :)
Went to the national museum today with AH, cow, and melanie to see the egyptian exibition. We went in for free as it is free for students :)
It was quite creepy at first as it was very dark and they played eerie music in the background. Despite that, we all enjoyed it very much. It started of with some warm up activities like folding origami in a pyramid, which AH had quite some trouble doing, and printing. Other interesting attractions include coffins, statues and mummies. However, there is nothing much to be afriad of as there are only mummies of animals like baby crocodiles, cats and birds. Human mummies are fully wrapped up, hence no part of the body can be seen. X-rays of the mummies are displayed on the wall nearby to aid visitors in visualising the inside of the mummy.
After visiting the exibition, we went to Fort Canning Park for walk and had a drink at a building there. Then, AH and I made melanie and cow climb up and down and around Fort Canning hill, finally arriving at the Clark Quay exit. AH and I then shared a Turkish ice-cream which cost us $5 in total. It had really bright colors which I suspect is coloring and a really chewy, sticky texture. We stopped at Liang Court where we browsed around Kinokunia for magazines.Cow and Melanie went off earlier to go home for dinner while me and AH went down to Bugis for dinner at KFC:)
Yupp, that's all for today then. [Photos might be posted here on another day]

Phew!
I've finally finished my job - distributing flyers:)
This is my second time I've been distributing flyers, both times for Kopitiam. I'm personally glad that it was discount coupons that I was supposed to distribute as it's relatively easier to distribute compared to brochures.
I feel that distributing flyers is a physically tiring job but still worth a try. While distributing flyers, I learn more about the different kinds of people there are out there. One might be puzzled as to why I say this is so. Well, I get to know more about them by the different ways they accept or reject the flyers. Some accept or refuse the flyers with a polite smile, nod or shake of the head. Sadly, there are others who ignore you totally, giving an aloof look should they happen to make eye contact with you. This act usually upsets me, even more so when others follow suite.
Someone once asked me how many pedestrians would accept the flyers after taking one from me. Being in a hurry to continue with my work, I replied that the majority would accept the flyers. I gave much thought to that question later on in my free time and my estimate was that about 50% of the people offered would accept the flyers, though the percentage would most probably differ in different places and situations. For example, giving flyers at the entrance of an escalator would usually have more people accepting as they can read it while on the escalator and conveniently throw it into the dustbin located at the other end.
Lastly, I feel that we should all be "gracious and civillised people"[quoted from ms chan XD] Though we are paid to give out flyers, I hope that everyone can be polite when refusing or accepting flyers and the same goes for those distributing the flyers.
'A friendly look, a kindly smile, one good act, and life's worthwhile.' ~Author Unknown
I've just found this in the web and feel it's really meaningful, a smile is a symbol of joy and happiness, so who wouldn't want one? :)
I've got to catch some sleep now, remember to tag! It really is quite a bother to get a new code every time my account expires because it's been inactive for too long :)
CYA!

Haha. Trying to be funny... Went karaoke and cycling yesterday. Paid $4 each for the K and it was totally worth it, meaning that since it was so cheap, the service was as bad.... Cycling was relatively cheaper, $6/3hr at east coast causing me a muscle ache now, though it isn't as bad as I thought it would be. Hmmm.... It might be thanks to my sister's massage that my muscles don't ache so much. She gives good massages :)
We basically met at 8.30am for the K and realised that they only opened at 11am, so we just sat around the yatch club reading Char's jap HW and playing word games while waiting for it to open. The lady's knowledge about service was relatively challenged, leaving us with an unpleasant impression of her.
Char left early as she had jap class. AH, Moo and me then went to ECP to cycle. We snacked as we went along, AH and Moo on a double bike, me on a single. I honestly had zero coordination with AH so I gave up on the idea of riding with her:)
Okay, enough typin, here are some of the photos we took yesterday. They're probably also posted on facebook at AH's page coz I sent her all of it :)

Hey Heys!
I've got back my results for o's. Not gonna talk much abt it, jus gonna say that I'm goin poly. It's a mid-score.
Let's see, sentosa last fri was......
->fun coz we were there
->boring coz there was nth much to do
->hot (coz of the sun????)
->upsetting coz I got bitten by an ant.
Here, I'd lik to elaborate..... It was an unbreezy day at the beach...... We were playing/practicing volleyball in the shade when IT came to bite me. Then I realised that I was standing/stepping in their way. Anyway, my toe was feeling really painful and when I bent to take a closer look, I found..(drum roll)... the ant DEAD. Not that I pitied it anyway.... I mean, it bit me! Well, it was a medium sized red ant for those interested, and I started running my foot in water at the open shower. Oh, and abt the open shower, it was like a blessing from heaven, an oasis in the desert, a..... You get what I mean.... It relieved the heat for us making the heat more managable and I of course thank the light rain which came along later but didn't manage to drench us :)
Sadly, we didn't take many photos so here are the rare few! :)

byez!

heys!
Results for o'levels are coming out next monday.
Awwww..... It's so soon its terrible!
Anyway, 4D's Sentosa outing's tomorrow! WHOOHOO!!! Hope that the majority will turn up. One of the reasons i lik our class so much is coz the outings are relatively cheaper in price:)) What I mean is most other classes have chalets and bbqs which total up to quite a lot and very little food. :)
Ahh... gonna love Sentosa tmr. Really excited abt it :)
Oh ya, sincerest apologies to HIGH FLYERS as I can't go for the K. It's becoz, as I mentioned before, of the cost. Why do I sound like a miser? Coz, I'm officially broke.... :)
Leaving for dinner now so bye!

ok, u get it....
I was just saying HI!
lolx, think I missed an 'i' there, oh well, not goin to change it. nobody reads the blog anyway :D
Let's see, I've nothing much to say anyway, just plain bored.... Ahhh... the feeling of having hols when others are having school...... u only feel happy that you don't have to wake up early. It's kinda sad, like lonely feeling, like u can't actually dread school and telling yourself that the only consolation are your friends who will suffer in school with you. Trust me it's sad to have nothing to dread or look forward to.
well, here's an example of how bored I am, I don't mind doin the housework anymore, and the fact is I dreaded it in the past. Like i'd rather study than do housework....
another thing abt this period of time is that u hav almost nth to blog abt like me now.... you will feel lik u're having an emotional block but that's not it, there just aren't any events for you to feel abt!
ugh.... fine, I've got nth else to blabber abt, so bye! :)
