Dreams are important aren't they? Why? No one has ever told me why. Here's an inspiring song, B What U Wanna B by Darin. Many thanks to the uploader for sharing this song.

Dreams give us hope, hope gives us strength, and we need strength to survive and live in this topsy turvy world of ups and downs. Dreams don't necessarily come true, in fact, they seldom do come true, but this doesn't render dreams pointless. Dreams present to me a safe haven from the rest of the world. Somewhere I cannot be reached, can never be hurt and that will always be there no matter where I physically am. In that sense, dreams tend to help one destress.

Dreams have pretty much a negative relationship with our lives. The younger a person, the bigger the dream and as people get older, our dreams get smaller. That's probably the reason why dreams have difficulty coming true. A child with large dreams seldom have the resources and capability to carry out their dreams whilst the adult possessing such qualities, no longer harbours the compelling drive to make these dreams come true. To the adult, being a "doctor, lawyer or a singer" would be vastly different from the viewpoint of the child. Time has equipped adults with resources and capabilities needed to fulfil their young dreams but comes with a price of understanding one's limitations and in some cases how seemingly unattainable one's goal is, as with the saying that the more one learns, the less one knows.

So, I showed my sister my blog today and she complained that I forgot to mention happy birthday to her in the post... Well, the main reason for that was because she doesn't check my blog often so it doesn't make sense to wish her happy birthday here right? But anyway, in case you ever read this mei, Happy (belated) Birthday!!!

And since midnight hasn't passed, Happy Deepavali to all! :)

Are people with the pices horoscope more sentimental than others? Somehow I think so, or rather, they are more likely to be a sentimental person than others :)

Sentimental meaning that we stop to think about life. What makes it beautiful? What makes it tough? Why and how can tough experiences make us happy right at the very end? And will pursuing only happiness really make us happy? All the nitty gritty things in life are worth considering but few spare time to look into it.

Personally, I find it sad, a waste, that some people don't see the beautiful things that are right before their eyes. Some live only to regret not cherishing what they had and selfishly wish to turn back time. There maybe a sort of greater sense of humanity in doing so but life for the millions have moved on, to need what the past only hoped, and so, ideals to revert mankind to ape-hood would never go down without a war.

Hence, cherish what we have, the good and the bad. Memories form history, something like fairytales, never to come true again...
